Hi there! I am Vesa “Vesku” Nopanen.

I am a Principal AI Advisor, speaker, blogger, and community leader helping organizations turn AI potential into measurable business value.

Through this blog, I share insights, experiences, and lessons learned from working with AI transformation, Microsoft 365 Copilot, intelligent agents, Microsoft Foundry, Azure AI, and AI-Native ways of working. My goal is to help organizations and individuals understand not only the technology, but also how people and AI can collaborate to achieve better outcomes together.

My professional journey spans more than 30 years across software development, databases, analytics, project management, leadership, collaboration technologies, cloud platforms, and AI. This diverse background allows me to connect strategy, business outcomes, technology, and adoption. Today, I help organizations navigate AI transformation by balancing innovation with practical execution and real-world value.

Community is an important part of my journey. I am a Microsoft MVP, international speaker, and organizer of the AI-Native Workplace Summit, Microsoft AI User Group Finland, and Microsoft 365 Copilot User Group Finland. Over the years I have also founded and organized communities and events including Teams Nation and Metaverse One.

Whether through conferences, workshops, blogs, videos, or user groups, I enjoy sharing knowledge and helping others learn, experiment, and succeed with technology.
